We conducted this home purchase remotely from out of state, and their communication was impeccable and we always felt like we knew what was doing on with the status at all times. Carolyn kept us up to date with potential homes that met our wish list and her thorough knowledge of the area was an invaluable resource for helping us decide on the perfect home for us, even though we could't walk through the homes and neighborhoods in-person. Carolyn and Andi conducted virtual walk-thrus with us via Facetime. They acted as our eyes and ears to report every detail in the home, and let us know when they detected unusual odors, and even when floors felt like they were sloping, and what the surrounding neighborhood looked like -- they really went the extra mile to make sure we understood every nuance in a home, so we could pick the right one for our needs and our budget. These types of details are extremely important, especially when you are looking at older homes in some of Savannah's historic neighborhoods.

Carolyn Smith also recommended to us an incredible lender to work with -- having a competent, responsive lender that was local to Savannah, and was familiar with the title company, closing attorneys, and even the home insurance provider was instrumental in allowing us to expedite our closing in just 18 days! (something that a non-local lender would find very hard to do). Every person that Carolyn and Andi recommended to work with was exceptional -- including the inspectors, closing attorneys, electricians, and everyone else that came together to make this home purchase possible.

Carolyn and Andi are an incredible team to work with and I would absolutely work with them again. I appreciate that their service doesn't simply "end" with the close of the house purchase. They reach out afterwords to ensure everything is going smoothly. And in our case, because we are remote buyers and the sellers stayed in the home after closing, Carolyn and Andi have offered to conduct the move-out walk-thru when the sellers vacate the property, and also assist in getting the pest control inspector scheduled to put the house under termite bond after closing. You really cannot ask for better service -- I recommend Carolyn Smith and Andi DeFelice wholeheartedly.
